Most people that stick with it will win something, and many times at a good price. So that's the risk. Now, all that being said Update: All items delivered. The Samsung TV arrived right away, and the delayed Apple products have been delivered! Not only that, I received an even newer model iPad - the iPad Air - than the earlier model listed at time of auction: 4 There is no problem as previously reported - It was resolved.
All items have been delivered. As others had indicated; they had not as of yet shipped out Apple products going back to this past summer. I, too, had been put off exactly as previously described and awaiting resolution. They are still auctioning off Apple products as I write this review. This has been resolved satisfactorily. Additionally, I was just yesterday the winner of a Samsung TV, which I hope to receive within a couple of weeks time at the latest. I'll report back on this, as well.
Obviously, if it's not resolved satisfactorily, or the TV doesn't arrive, I will rate the company down, accordingly. As far as penny auctions go this one is pretty good.
Would like to see more bid package options and more apple products. Overall great site though. App for collecting money by offering nothing. When you purchase you get Nothing and no way of recouping your Money. When you call customer service You have the honor of speaking to Someone who speaks broken English if your fortunate.
They claim they will Return your money-don't hold your breath. Still waiting after 2 years. Shame on me. Are they out of business? I get from some of these reviews that it takes time and patience to win. Unfortunately, I have neither. So my goal it to spend all of my bids and get off this site. What I don't understand is how they can charge me shipping and handling for bids I've one.
That is ridiculous to me. Is it even legal? My experience is that they are very very slow in delivering products that have been won. With that being said, auctions could be won at reasonable prices if you are patient and watch long enough to understand when and at what prices other bidders get bored and go away.
Here are some other tricks that I found that address some of the concerns that others have. When I signed up, I didn't give them my credit card information because I didn't trust them. I exited at the point that they were asking for my credit card. I didn't give them any credit card information until after I had won an auction. There is a Spin The Wheel page where you can win up to 10 free bids a day by spinning a roulette type wheel. You can only do this once in any 24 hour period. The trick is to click on "spin" and if it isn't going to land where you want it, just click any other link prior to the wheel stopping and you can go back and try again.
I retry until I get 9 or 10 bids each time. I have won some good items that have been delivered, but there are some auctions that I won back in December that have still not been delivered and the selection of new auctions has recently dropped to almost nothing. Looks to me like the site is shutting down and I probably won't get the last items that I won. Am glad more people agreed that this site is fraud. Just in case I saved most of my chats conversation with them, all their promise and fail.
They are total fraud even though at the initial time they were okay and later all the things i won including ipod never received them and some that i received didn't work, they even gave me an empty usb card reader.
I left more than one thousand bids for them when I noticed they were playing games and more over nothing good to bid for from them. Tip for consumers: Do not even try them plssssssssssssssssssssss. I doubt I'll ever see my money again, but this place is totally fraudulent and a complete rip off!
I feel like this is a total bait and switch and I want my money returned. As it stands they have no return policy so I am contacting my credit card company today! This place is a total scam! I have just read negative comments about this zbiddy and unfortunately, I have just joined them!
HOW do I delete my infos? I have been trying for over a year to win anything worthwhile on this site. Now it seems the only thing available to bid on is pure junk. They have quit auctioning all but a few gift cards except a few 5 or 10 dollar amt. When you get done bidding on them and pay your delivery charge you are sure to lose money. This site truly is a joke! Zbiddy is the best penny auction site. I won several items including an iphone. You need patience and strategy to win on such website.
It's not the site I do agree their sign-up practices are deceiving, however the issue is with the number of people using the site. They make their money through the charges on bids. Even if they pay list Not bad, whoever thought of this and got people to participate in it is a genius. First of all I don't work for this company.
I have a tip for everyone. Sign up at the cheapest level first. Then, call them and say you didn't know you had to pay to play. They will immediately start giving you discounts. I said no I want my money back 10 times and each time they offered me something more.
When it was the same deal the 9th and 10th time, I knew I got the best offer. It seems they don't have their employees bidding on this deal if what people say is true. I got the cards and they really are worth money. You use the cards to buy vouchers to save a crapload of money at restaurants you want to eat at. They charge a "delivery fee" that exceeds the cost of the entire subscription.
I have yet to win any other auctions but I have been told that if you login at AM on a weeknight, it is the best time. I have not done so but have heard you can get stuff way cheap as nobody is bidding. Photos of you review. Submit Cancel.
Thank you for submiting your review! Read the terms and conditions. Know what you are authorizing or not, and Understand what these bidding sites actually are; they are highly competitive, not easy to win, almost gambling, game sites.
It's entertainment. It's a lottery. You compete to win a prize. And next, about the prizes. Ranging from gift cards worth from 25 up to dollars each of gas cards, retail store cards, restaurant cards, Starbucks cards, airline cards. I have received many items, to include a Dyson DC41 Vacuum cleaner, an assortment of headphones, a couple of computer accessories including two excellent monitors and other items. I have won, but not received, both an Apple iPad and iPod.
I "won" all these items though hard work; spending hours at the computer, analyzing, developing techniques, timing, and luck. It really is a competition. As in all competitions, there are many losers. To win at all, to participate, you must buy bids. Lots of them. And you may lose them all.
It can be very frustrating. Only the strong survive. Most people that stick with it will win something, and many times at a good price. So that's the risk.. Now, all that being said Update: All items delivered. The Samsung TV arrived right away, and the delayed Apple products have been delivered! I'll report back on this, as well. Obviously, if it's not resolved satisfactorily, or the TV doesn't arrive, I will rate the company down, accordingly. I've used a number of penny auction sites, including zbiddy. The model works like this: You buy a bid pack, then bid on the product you want.
If you're the last person to bid, you win the item. The reason you get a discount is because other people are bidding too, so multiple people are investing in the product. There's some strategy to it, but that's what makes it fun. If you're willing to be patient and learn the ropes, sites like zbiddy can really pay off.
I've won several auctions and paid significantly less than retail each time. I doubt I'll ever see my money again, but this place is totally fraudulent and a complete rip off!
Everything everyone has said in their reviews happened to me; wasted time on the phone, lies, misleading advertising. We can report them to the Department of Consumer Fraud and several others! Please contact me about finding an attorney that will take this case-class action on contingency! My name is Vanessa L [email protected].
I feel like this is a total bait and switch and I want my money returned. As it stands they have no return policy so I am contacting my credit card company today! The website appears functioning though there have been no auctions since early February. Live chat doesn't work and they have not returned emailed to get auction codes on items won since September of I get from some of these reviews that it takes time and patience to win. Unfortunately, I have neither. So my goal it to spend all of my bids and get off this site.

They have quit auctioning all but a few gift cards except a few 5 or 10 dollar amt. When you get done bidding on them and pay your delivery charge you are sure to lose money. This site truly is a joke! Not a real fan of penny auction sites. Seems they work great for some, not for most.
I happily paid for my deals, went to redeem them and realized why they were so easy to win. There's like a million different black-out dates, restrictions and time restraints. For hotel discounts, you have to book at least 4 consecutive nights. Now, I'm on a budget and don't travel often. When I do, it's not for long periods of time. I try to get the best deals on airfare and I certainly try to avoid the most expensive nights to stay in a hotel.
