But there is also a sense in which he is in the heart of each believer. So where is Jesus right now? He is seated in heaven, bodily. He is omnipresent as God. And he is especially present in believers.
As God, Jesus is omnipresent. He is everywhere. There is nowhere Jesus is not. That is the universal presence of Jesus as God — it is omnipresent. But Jesus is not only fully God, thus omnipresent, Jesus is also fully human. He is in us. He indwells us in a special way as believers. Please look at the aorist tense - item 2 - in the table above.
In these verses, the aorist tense means something that simply occurred. It's a statement of fact. Note that the verbs in question are also in the indicative mood. It's important to understand that the time element of the tense of a verb really only comes into effect when the verb is in the indicative mood. All three Pauline texts above Rom.
